Missed call cold caller

A woman called me today from the Ministry of Justice and said that i was owed thousands of pounds from Barclays bank. She gave me this number to ring and was very forceful that i contact this number to claim my money. She also asked me to provide my bank details for a credit transfer. Do not call this number as it is a scam.

So, so, so tired of this same phone call every couple of weeks. I have blocked every number it comes through yet still they manage to contact me. I do not understand how they get away with it?!?! Something should be done.

When I call back it says, this number does not exist.

I got a message with a text, that I should urgently call this number and I ll probably need a lawyer and that there are some serious problems...blah..blah. I, or my lawyer, should call them in the next 24 hours. God, I hate this. A year ago, I got something similar. This is BS. You won t be able to call them back for a few hours, then miraculously you ll reach them and they ll mumble something about loans...a car or a house. Their phoning mobiles "about their mobile phone insurance", and claiming that the number has been obtained by "market research". Utter rubbish - number has been mine for over 12 years and is purely for emergency family contacts. Not given out to anyone else.

their address is at 25 Canada Square at Canary Wharf , they are supposedly on the 33rd floor but this is actually a Regus office which you can rent for short periods.

Someone called up saying they were from BT to supposedly report that our internet was being hacked. They were extremely vague with details and tried to use different technical terms but it made no sense. He didn t call from this number but said we should use it to call him back. He called from 01398 774762 which has also been reported as fraudulent multiple times.

Non stop calls since last Wednesday, sometimes three times a day. I don?t know anyone from Scotland and I?m not signed up to any sort of company in Scotland. I very rarely give out my number to people who aren?t family, so I?m very confused as to how the ?company? has my information. It?s definitely a dodgey number by all accounts.
