Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! SCAM James (with a non English accent) called to tell me that my (non existent with Domestic appliance that he purported to be from) home contents insurance had expired. I hung up, didn't have time to call him out on his fraudulent activities today.

SCAM call...Auntomated message claiming to be for unpaid tax, warrent for arrest etc...press 1 or 2. DO NOT PRESS EITHER.

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

Covid warning text with a link to a get a test. This appears to be a scam as no contact with any Covid positive people. It didn’t conform to official NHS Covid texts as per NHS website.

Claiming I have unpaid bills

Fraud pretending to be bank security stating that someone is trying to use my credit card and asking me to press 1. Put the phone down and call block the number. Somehow they are using what sounds like the same voice as my bank system.

SCAM - claimed that she was calling to tell me that I was potentially due a refund due to my "past finances". Definitely a scam.

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. SCAM - claiming to be BT Openreach doing routine checks becuase of server issues.

It is a scam, just called me to request cancellation of international money transaction of £700 and £900 to press 1. I don't have that much amount in my regular card :)
