scammers calling me back after I almost fell for their online fraud....I tried to watch a film and a WINDOWS message came across the screen to say i have a virus and to ring these number (supposedly WINDOWS) , as not to completely ruin my laptop I called the number then immediately realised what was going on...a man answered since then the second number has been calling me.... both say London England on my numbers list 02039233300 and 02045205156

Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). SCAM The caller was a recording with a female voice with American/Canadian accent. She told me she was from security at my bank card (no account name or bank) and I had £10,000 taken from my account and £2000 by PayPal. If I was not aware of these transactions I should press button 1. This call is identical to many others I have received with the same voice but differing amounts. No bank card or account is ever identified. It is a Scam to get you to press button 1 and make your phone open to the scam
They rang my mobile but rang off just before I managed to answer. I called them back but I got a message "This number not recognised". So I guess it is a scam call using a spooked number.
