Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. The guy then demanded to speak to the bill payer - I told him they are not available and not interested. He then went on a rant at me - at which point I hung up and blocked the number. Wow, had a call from this number today. I dont usually answer these numbers but I was bored so I thought I'd have a bit of fun and boy was it a shock. What I got was an incoherent, female voice screaming down the phone. The line was not good so I wasn't sure if she was speaking English or not but I never got one word of what was said. After about 20 seconds she hung up. I stood there baffled scratching my head for a short while before heading here to check it out. I'm still baffled!

They are a debt collection company who have purchased your debt from Lloyds or HSBC Etc for less than you owe and are trying to get the money and will be very persistent. If you haven t missed any payments to your bank then nothing they can do. Just tell them to send something to you in writing as you do not give out information over the phone - I have done this and never received any letters.

Some bloke called me at half past 10 saying i had hit his car and had left a note on his car. Baring in mind this number is from London and i live over an hour and a half away from london, and i am currently not driving at the moment, i find this very hard for me to have hit his car. He was quite aggressive down the phone, swearing and expecting me to pay for the damage. I then said could you read out the note and he hung up.
