Called asking about life insurance etc. Blocked.

Repeated calls, cut off when I answer or my answermachine cuts in. Google the number, you ll see many forums are complaining that this number is that of Business Census , and it s data-gathering for resale. Calls border on harassment. Complained to BT and TPS.

They keep calling to book a service even though the last one cost me a fortune, they didn t tighten my brake fluid cap which spilled out onto the road and nearly caused me to crash. I have told them this but they didn t even apologise.

Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

Was called by this number several times, when i tried to call it back i just got a recorded message, it did not say who the caller was. However a week or so later i received a letter from Yorkshire Water saying they wanted to change my water meter and it had this number on the letter.

I live in Plymouth but judging by other comments, they were calling from Darlington. Asked her for name of company and she said Industrial Workers Office. I gave them an earful and hung up. These people are from a company called Ultimate Contact Solutions. The only reason they are calling you is to get you to call back (money making) and to confirm a contact number is active so they can sell it on. If you are unlucky enough to answer and stupid enough to ring back they then pump you for your details, and if able to other family members details so they can sell your details at a higher price and get an extra sale from your family s details.
