Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.
James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Called 4 times in a space of 2 hours. Answered the first time, they hung up straight away, ignored the call the next 3 times, but they still call.
A call from this number today left a message that sounded like Italian on my answerphone. I guess another scammer.

SCAM Said they’re from carphone warehouse. Offered latest handset, unlimited calls & texts, incliding international plus 30gb internet for £40per month, said they would cancel my current contract for me transfer my number over and cover all cancellation fees. Got very aggressive/ insistent when I said I had sim only contract and intended to stay that way, suddenly offering the deal for £25 and demanding my card details immediately before I someone else took the offer instead.
