this number is local to me but seems not to be located here. Liverpool accent but National Hearing Clinic does not exist, it seems. Similar claims supposedly based on my industrial history have been used by pseudo-companies in recent years, shown by Google search

This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.

Write off your debts. Really? What a crock of crap. And where did they get my mobile number from? Unsolicited, unwelcome and untrustworthy pile of crud.

Couldn't find anything about the number so tried calling it back and recorded message said I'd dialed an incorrect number.

Called several times before I answered, whoever was on the other end of the line was very rude, would not tell me who they were and hung up on me when I asked how they got this number

This number is apparently a "proxy": I called it back and the caller was NOT in Worthing...? Scotland, apparently..!? Anyway, DONT answer, or indeed EVER call back.... ;-)

Caller said she was calling from Amazon and someone had bought a phone on my account and they had been sending me emails yesterday. Checked Amazon account and all email folder...

Automated charge harvester, no humans ever talked to. THIS IS NOT A MOBILE PHONE!!! Gets money when you call back and sit on hold.

This number just called me, sounded like a foreign gentleman, he asked my full name then hung up.. Sounded like a call centre spammer.

SCAM They called, claiming they were from some warehouse (I did not understand because the woman's foreign accent was very hard to understand). They asked me which iPhone I have to offer me some 'discount' for an upgraded plan or something. Guess what, I do not have an iPhone. I might have misunderstood something, so it is worth hearing about other people's experiences too, but for now, I consider this a scam.

Claim to be from RK Legal, trying to get update on an 'alleged' accident that occurred earlier in the year. They have my name, telephone number & my vehicle detail...

Automated call to say £200 would be removed from my account for 'computer services' and to call 02380970208 to stop it. Number reported to ICO
