on 22 june the above number 0161 8735544 rang my son and said that an amount of ?1500.00 was waiting to be claimed fir whiplash for a accident he had in 2009 foulishly he gave them details including his mobile phone number and said they will ring him on monday 25th june to follow this up. I have rang this number as i suspected it was some sort of scam and what a surprise the number disconnects when u ring it.I would like to know how they got our landline number when we are ex directory and registered with

Commenting on behalf of my mother in law. They called telling her that her washing machine warranty was expiring (a lie)and was duped. When I called to complain they were confrontational and when she called back to cancel they would not put her through the correct department. Unprofessional sharks - avoid.

Claimed to be calling from windows about error messages from my computer. Didn t know my name or anything. When I said she was a liar she said I m not a liar, you re a liar! I hung up on her.

Indian caller, said she was calling from Windows helpdesk - surely it would be called Microsoft Helpdesk, anyway the scammers just hung up when I started laughing at them. They really annoy me because they prey on the weak and vulnerable in our society.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Had 3 calls in the space of two hours. Did not answer as aware it was a cold call.

Sent a photo message.didn t recognise so deleted it. Next got txt msg saying "what is this called" .deleted that also.
