Advise everyone to do same to fight this despicable practice. Eventually it will be uneconomic for them to try to tax the dumb and vulnerable like this. Just another PPI auto caller! Wish I knew how to stop these annoying calls from my mobile and home phone, tried all sorts and it doesn t work!!

Picked up the phone and waited, then got what sounded like a recorded voice saying "Hello, how are you?" Ignored it and left the phone off the hook until it disconnected.
