These people claim to be carrying out free checks on your home. This is total rubbish they are con men. Just hang up! they are out to rob you
SCAM Indian call centre called claiming to be BT and said that my WiFi was being used illegally by other people without my knowledge. They even sent me texts and emails on legitimate BT numbers and email addresses. This is a very clever scam, do not fall for their scam, BT will never ask for access to your PC to 'prevent access to the WiFi' or for any other reason. Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got. Unsurprisingly she hung up. Don't know what the scam was going to be but clearly there is one
