Called asked for by name, was about washing machine insurance. Soon as I said I lived with parents he hung up on me
its company want to take to you about a bump in your car or someone in your household.
Caller had an obvious Asian (Indian sub continent?) accent and did not identify himself or the company he was calling on behalf of. He wanted the previous subscriber of my phone...

Six calls in last 24 hours. They persist even though I have blocked the number so it doesn teven ring and they can t leave a message. Number shows on my caller display.
Called today,very quiet line, said she was calling from a department but couldn t hear what department. When I asked where she was calling from she hung up.
Possible scam, initial delay while autodialler connects to scammer..... foreign accent, poor quality line, says they are offering special offers on Samsung handsets

After saying "hello" a few times I eventually had a foreign sounding woman ask if I was Mrs Choo. I hung up immediately as we are always getting calls starting this way; usually they show on our display as International, but this is the first time we have had one from a UK number. With the "international" calls they always hang up whether I answer YES or No to if I am Mrs Choo. So I ve no idea why they are calling.
