Had 3 missed calls and I tried to ring back and it ended and said number can not be recognised

Someone called up saying they were from BT to supposedly report that our internet was being hacked. They were extremely vague with details and tried to use different technical terms but it made no sense. He didn t call from this number but said we should use it to call him back. This number is not recognised if trying to call back. Which is the sign of a scammer. They have called several times despite being told not to. They have now been reported to TPS , but I doubt anything will be done :(

Got a call from this number I tried to explain we have terminally ill person in house and needed phone lines clear ( my father has cancer) they just laughed and put phone down. After calling a further 9 times in 3 hours I asked to speak to a manager who came to phone and proceeded to laugh through my explanation and put phone down. I then blocked the number so they rang a further 10 times from international withheld and either blasted sirens or just laughed down phone .

After saying "hello" a few times I eventually had a foreign sounding woman ask if I was Mrs Choo. I hung up immediately as we are always getting calls starting this way; usually they show on our display as International, but this is the first time we have had one from a UK number. With the "international" calls they always hang up whether I answer YES or No to if I am Mrs Choo. So I ve no idea why they are calling.

Odd thing is that The callers number is VERY close to my own.
