This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.

Just had a call from this number saying he was a Bailiff coming round this afternoon to collect on a debt from an advertisement I placed for my business in January 2018. Very insistent but I ended up putting the phone down on him when he would not listen to me, and before he got to asking for any bank details. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN. I have now reported the call to my local County Court as advised by the www.gov.uk website.
Indian scammers posing as BT tech support. Ask them for your address. If they really were from BT they would know it They will say your computer showed up on their server as being hacked. If that was really the case then why don't they have your address? Ask them for your IP address as the only way your "computer" could show up on a BT server is with an IP address (except BT don't monitor for this sort of thing and wouldn't phone you up about it). We are called 3-4 times a day. Every time, I tell them to take us off their calling list (as you are advised to say!), but they just won t stop. They start before 9am and still call into late evening. Their treat is, "if you just answer our questions then we will stop ringing you" . . in other words, if you don t we will continue to annoy you.
