This is a high pressure sales caller purporting to be from a company called ESI, although I could find no details of them online. Their aim is to get people on good defined benefits pension schemes to sell out. They talk a good game, but this smells awfully like a scam outfit which is attempting to get people to transfer monies from safe defined benefits schemes to them, which is incredibly worrying. Your best bet if you receive a call from this number is to block it.

SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. SCAM Man called to say that I was free for a free medical alert - clearly a scam as he said that he had been refferred my local medical agencies and when questioned further, could not elaborate - evasive as per last message posted

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
