Rang me from Marlborough Clearly time wasters I suspect this is spam
They've called 3 times today. Picked up the last time because it was familiar area code. Friendly enough chap, northern accent, trying to sell me an ISA.
Fraud They said I had £87K in a cryptocurrency account with them ('Blockchain Support') I've never invested in crypto, so it must be some sort of phishing scam. I think they got my name and number via the June 2023 data breech at BBC etc.

SPAM - received a text that I missed a package from Evri. I am not expecting a package from them. The message also provided a suspicious spam link to click on.
Came up on my phone as suspected scam.
SCAM They pretend to be from AML and say you have money to your credit. This is not correct.
Automated voice just says dear customer and transaction of over £900 on your visa card then ask you to press 1 to cancel its a scam they don't even call you by name.

They knew my name and said they'd been authorised by the government to handle a legal case against FX Trading. I knew it was a fraudulent phonecall when they wanted ID and statements from me. My phone picked up that they were calling from Rome but the man clearly said he was working for the UK government. Very dodgy!
Internet? claims to be from BT saying a problem with my internet. I thanked her politely and said my internet is working fine, then I rang off. It didn’t sound like a call centre as was quiet in the background - I don’t believe this was a genuine call from BT

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Seemed like a scam to me. Automatic message said there were suspicious charges againt my bank account and invited me to press 1 to cancel these charges. Banks don't work like that.
