Ask for their company registration number you should do this with all possible phone calls you really don t want to deal with and insist on it any good company would be more than happy to give you it

When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. Some "fik" (thick) sounding muppet rang asking for my Missus, when I said "No", phone went dead. Rang number back and after a few rings it went dead.

Called 5 times in the last week - I said that to him and he said they don t call off lists and it was the first time they d attempted to call.
