Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Caller wanted to speak to Mr P..., a false name I once used with another cold caller. He confirmed my name (Mr P.... ), address and phone number. He wanted to conduct a survey. When I asked him its purpose he ended the phone call.

I don t know how they have my mobile number, but when they ring they never speak and always hang up.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. They said that he needed to transfer ?11,000 from another account to sort out the problem and he would give the details of the account that he needed to transfer the money to.
