A foreign gentleman called from this number 01223 691019, claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted access to my modem via my smartphone or computer to make updates. When I said that I had neither he started to get a little agitated. Also kept hinting towards a bad phone connection. This was a call to my landline. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but is very likely as Virgin probably wouldn't access your home internet via a 3rd party mobile phone company.
Company called Red Star regarding PPI Called me several times without leaving any message so I phoned back.
S.E Asian female with poor script promising relief from debts. Why can t our telecoms companies find and block these parasites?
SCAM told me I needed to renew my sky t.v. insurance - I haven't got sky !

This number called me asking they want to authorize payment worth of £600.00 to California. I do not know anyone from California first of all. When I said I do not have any knowledge of what you talking person on a phone said this is a fraud. So to stop this started asking me bank details which I refused to share and hung up. I repeatedly ask from where you calling? which bank? etc there was no straight forward answers. In the last I said you are a fraud and hung up.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Fraud BEWARE THEY WILL CON YOU pretending to be a loan company, they ask for the first installment to be paid as they need to be sure you can afford it, which I paid, they then said that they would require a tax payment that HMRC required before your loan is paid, which I refused to pay, they are piggybacking a company called nouveau finance (this company only deals with mortgages and is a legitimate company, who don't have sister companies)YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOR THE LOAN
I'm in West Yorkshire and this is one of the increasing landline robo calls, originating from the south of England, I've been receiving in November 2020. Where it rings, there's no one there if I answer and if it goes to voice message, no message is left. Each time this happens I add the number to my phones blacklist so it's blocked if they try again. BUT this one is unusual because the call came from 01633 856923, but empty message left was from 01003 487792.
