TAXES / HMRC Caller said I had some money coming back to me from HMRC. I asked for their details and could they send it to my email so I can look at things. They wanted me to confirm who I was, but I don't give any of my details over the phone. I asked again to send me details and he said I see what I can do, he then put the phone down. Definitely scam

Told them I was moving countries and the guy swiftly got off the phone with me, though that may have been down to my boyfriend making random noises in the background... The guy with a Geordie accent knew my first name. Don't bother answering.

I didn’t give her any chance to enter into a sales patter but just told her that I already had a local plumber and that any thoughts of selling me of her wares was destined for failure. This number called me today. I called back and the agent who is also the voicemail voice for ‘Mortgages London’ asking ‘Hi, is this Leah?’. I’m a man. They then called back, and when they heard my voice said ‘Sorry, wrong number’ and hung up. Disgraceful spamming people when they are at work.
