Did not answer. Knew who it was as I’d previously told them that I’d recently changed my tariff with BG themselves and this included them supplying a smart meter which they will soon be doing. Only getting one because it was a good deal with the tariff. Told him to remove me from their records as it was pointless calling me. Certainly don’t want a second meter thank you!

Usual crap - recorded message about a car crash, and being out thru to her supervisor. When the guy asked me when the crash was, I asked him when he thought it was, as clearly knew something I didn't, and he hung up. Number now blocked (and doesn't receive incoming calls - was going to ask them about their PPI reclaim....)

A scam call from “ Inside Revenue” trying to glean tax information. The foreign sounding man said he could help with claiming the marriage allowance! I told him that as I worked for HMRC anyone who claims the marriage allowance simply has to tick a box on their tax return and there is no need for any interference from a company calling themselves “Inside Revenue”. My advice is give no information and block the number.

I have reported this to the Information Commissioner s Office. Then I sent an SMS to 02079461917 to tell them. They may not receive it but, if they do, what I said will certainly deter them.
