I answered and said hello twice but she was too busy talking to her mate! it seems they do that a lot when they aren't asking for personal details- never give out personal details over the phone!

Asking if I have a burglar alarm. Stating the police no longer respond. I informed him I am on the Telephone Preference list and he said he would take me off his database but still persisted with his sales pitch. I had to stop the conversation and say "good bye"! Do not tell him if you have an alarm or give your address. Could be a scam. I cannot find any listing of this phone number on the internet relating to a company - genuine or otherwise.
