Claimed to be HMRC and that I owed money, they had actually called my parents address that I moved out of 4 years ago and left my mother very worried. They're trying to get people to pay back taxes using amazon vouchers. This is a con that seems to be spreading, when I questioned them they hung up!

They tried to say I had been in a car accident. I do not drive. They then said I was a passenger. I told them they were just making it up and to bog off.
Had 3 calls today, answered third call. Man said my computer kept sending info to their computer and he would help sort it out. He was trying to get me to hand over access to my computer to him - told him where to get off.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Had a call from 07894970035 but it hung up when I answered. 30 minutes later had an automated call from 07894953007 saying they were from Talk Talk technical department and my internet access would be terminated tonight. Has my Talk Talk account been hacked?

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. There are more similar numbers reported - with just last 3 digits different - so it must be some call centre with range of numbers dedicated, be aware. Who is behind this number?
