they knew my name. Called and said they were informed that I had a car accident recently which of course I did not. How do they know my name?

I cannot believe these people, I was polite and courteous and explained I had not had a accident and after 5 minutes got told to F off and then the woman slammed the phone down. Absolute disgrace.

I stupidly applied for a loan was refused now despite stating did not want my number shared I have a crazy number of texts/calls all promising a loan in secs! All nonsense usually a "broker" wanting to charge an upfront fee of undisclosed amount to a debit card upfront for putting you in touch with loan companies with no gaurantee of an actual loan being arranged. Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! It s a welsh number and I don t know anyone that lives in Wales.
