Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. Called today @ 10:46 by an indian woman advising she was calling from nationwide bank. She asked me to confirm my postcode. When i asked what the call was regarding she repeated where she was calling from & asked about my postcode. I asked again what it was regarding as i dont have an account with nationwide then the line went dead. I tried to call it back to see if genuine but came up as invalid number.

Believe that this is Sky - we cancelled our subscription 3 months ago and they ve pestered me from this number relentlessly ever since, trying to tempt us back. No chance. I have also been scammed by these guys and I am furious! I have reported them to Action Fraud, but called my bank and they said there was nothing they could do to get m money back. Is it still worth calling trading standards?

Called today 10/10 11am saying I had a threat on my computer and for me to give him permission to access my computer to get rid of the problem I hung up.

I love these guys, I keep them on the phone as long as possible to waste their time. I m really nice to them and try to sound terrified at what they are telling me, you can have some real fun trying to keep them on the line.
