This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. The second time, I answered it, the bloke said that they were from "Consumer Helpline ", and "ringing about any finance [I d] taken out in the past ten years and any miss-sold PPI ", as soon as he heard me say that it was an "unsolicited call", and that "I m ex directory", the bloke hung up! Woman with a foreign accent called purporting to be from British Telecom and referring to my Internet connection. I did not let her proceed any further and indicated that I did not have the Internet. She apologised and turn up. I tested the number and it it does not exist, according to the message. Another scam I suspect.
I m getting daily 2 to 3 calls from this number claiming I had an accident. They forcibly try to get personal info. I have given them nothing! BTW I had no accident. My number is registered with TPS and they ignore the law and keep calling, even when I alert them to that fact. BEWARE- SCAM!

Possible SCAM / SPAM - this man called saying he was the allocated shopper for my sister and that he had a box of 32 items for her. Accent difficult to understand. My sister already has someone allocated to do her shopping so checked with the council who have no record of him. It may be genuine but people need to take care.
