I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. Automat call about loft lagging pretending to be from an UNRECOGNISED NUMBER !!! i've had several of these and just hung up but I let this one run I was asked several questions about my loft and myself. the answer-bot would only accept certain answers and repeated itself if you answered with something it did not understand it is just annoying

Everyone, get yourself a BT Call Blocker Phone 8600 (with Call Guardian) - its brilliant, you will never be worried with these scammers again - it blocks them for you and your friends and family get through. Honestly cannot recommend enough! Had it 3 weeks and its stopped all this rubbish - FABULOUS!

SCAM - the 3rd such similar text in as many days from different numbers. All had a link to a website that no doubt requests your bank details. In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.
At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. He said that was fine and could I call back on 0845 603 9035 which was open until 1900 hours. I said I would check things out and call him back. I immediately

Just received a call from this number about online trading. When asked how they got my number, she said online banner ! Strange - I asked her to remove my details - she said that I would need to speak to someone in the company and would not give me the name of the company. Then hung up on me.
