Man with a strong Asian accent called one evening claiming to be from "Lloyds Bank" asking to talk to the "account holder" and confirm security details. He was just fishing for personal details, he was completely unaware who I was and that I was not a customer of Lloyds TSB. This phone number is a dangerous scam persuading you to pay a false Amazon account.
Woman calls claiming I have recently been the victim of a car accident which is a miracle as I don t drive. Hung up as soon as she said that but she first identified herself as being from Adept Consulting - I actually have a real client with the same business name which is why I carried on the call! Absolute bloody nuisance!!

These people are scammers who target elderly vulnerable people. They cold called my mother who has dementia, despite her being registered with the TPS. They talked her into completely unnecessary cover for a washing machine for £225 pounds. This seems to be their MO as I have now seen it on numerous forums about them. This is now in the hands of her banks fraud team.
