The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Calls from number 01215257983 are a scam. The person pretends to be from B.T. and says there is a problem with your internet speed and wants you to run some tests on your laptop. Unfortunately for him my Internet Service Provider is not B.T. and I am also an electronics engineer, so when I started to ask him technical questions he became very, very, abusive and hung up. This number is now blocked on my phone and I would suggest others do so.

Told him it s all decided through head office so our branch manager wouldn t deal with it. He then asked if he could call back at a more convenient time, (obviously didn t listen to a word i d just told him!) at which point i told him no he couldn t call back at a more convenient time, no thank you & hung up on him. This phone number has been calling our house for weeks and weeks sometimes up to 15 times a day. we let the answer machine pick the call up and they never speak or leave a message, annoying to say the least!

Started calling me on 6th Aug - just had call now about 2 mins ago. In total 11 calls. Rings three times and then rings off. Have not rung them back.
Man rang and I told him I was registered with TPS, he was extremely rude so I put down the phone!
Junk calls started again on 2Jan18, this being one of them - had again today, the 3rd and didn t answer again; tried calling it from my work phone and get a recorded "The number have dialled has not been recognised."
