Caller admitted he was ringing from a call centre, but was polite. Doing market research. Didn't know why this number came up (it's a local number to me).

Contacted me on my mobile 3 or 4 times. The once I answered, at 6pm, a very aggressive and rude male. I cut the call.

Missed call - voicemail was left by an automated voice with no company details given at all, just a rather threatening voicemail advising beginnings of Lawsuit!!

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.

Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.

This is TAPA s number for their investigations team. I am registered with them to stop unsolicited charity advertising requests to my shop. Call them if your business is receiving charity advert calls if you want them stopping.

Almost certainly a scam, as only one digit different from 01865 679005 already reported on here.
