Missed it on mobile, but I recently had a spat with my water extortioner (United Utilities) so above references to other water companies sound about right.

Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

Received a call this morning from the above number. Said that my pension was now due for review. Said they were the PENSIONS ADVICE BUREAU and confirmed my address and postcode. Said they were conducting reviews on UK pensions and that my pension was due for review. Seems strange as I have no pension nor is one then up for review. Hoax claiming to be HMRC sending a warrant out for my arrest as I’d defrauded them! Total joke!
This is HSBC s fraud department number and the call was genuine.
SCAM! Called saying I have evaded tax and there is an arrest warrant. Pressing 1 led me to the hold music and a robot which most scammers use which say your call is very important to us. This is definitely not how you would be contacted for tax fraud. You would be arrested already.

Tries to sell maintenance contract for sky televisions. Seems to think sky sells televisions not satellite and cable products. Probably not UK based. Person had poor English communications skills.
SCAM man with Indian accent saying he was from O2 offering 40% discount to their customers and would send a text with offer. Kept saying I hadn't received text so he stayed on the line and kept sending texts. Eventually told him that I wasn't with O2 so he hung up.
