This is a devious company called Customer Calls Ltd in London. If you search for Legal and General Insurance, you will find a site high in the search results that provides a premium rate number as a contact for Legal and General. They claim the number is cheap but it is not!! My wife was charged £16 for 13 minutes plus two text messages at £3 each to provide Legal and General's contact details that are readily available on the internet for free...AVOID!!!

I moved house four months ago. I have a private and protected landline number (used to be called ex-directory). I have a call from this number at 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening??? How and why?? Fraud Call - I got a called from this number saying they were from O2 and offering me a 40% discount on my bill. They said I would receive a code from them and to read it out to them. I got 2 messages from O2 saying I had requested a security code and not to give the code to anyone and if I suspected fraud to call 202. The lady got really aggressive when I said I wouldn't give her the code as O2 shouldn't need the code. When I said I would check if this was ok she gave me another number to call to verify -

"Megan" from "Nationwide Fire Safety" claimed that we had a quote last year (2021) for inspection of 5 fire extinguishers for 89+vat but that has expired, but she can offer us 67+vat for 5 and 5+vat for each new one for an inspection on the 24th of October at our Ashford, Kent address. We have never had fire extinguishers, we moved from Kent over 8 years ago and have never received a quote from this company (which doesn't actually seem to exist!).
