I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.

Some person claiming to be from o2 offering me a 40% discount on my monthly phone bill.......due to covid 19!!!! I played along for a couple of minutes & they sent text message codes which someone could genuinely assume was from o2 as they had security warnings advising not to give the code out etc but when I said I was going to run her through some security questions & asked her the 1st line of my address they hung up. Scam call, called saying they were from amazon and that someone made a purchase with my account of £600 from Nigeria.

SCAM - Do not, I mean do not deal with these people. They are scam artists. I just had a call from them pretending to be O2 and I also received a code to access the website that they were obviously going to ask me for. Never ever give out this code. I do work for VM O2 and we never ask for codes from people.

They will call you on whatsapp as whatsapp is known for being annonymous and their profile picture on whatsapp is some random model to make you want to pickup somw type of phone bill scam/fraud/SOME sort of scam 100% definatley DO NOT pickup if you are called by this number

SCAM Foreign caller claiming that I have a bitcoin account that I didn’t know about. I have already heard of this scam and ended the call. I think the aim would be to obtain legitimate personal banking details from targeted individuals.

I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain.
