Just called, 13:15pm 26th March 2021 01484234296 automative voice, long pause before talking. Said I was involved in a car tax scam and I should call by pressing whichever number I forget now. If I didn't get in touch I would be arrested immediately. I believe it's a scam a HMS tax as they state they are would not call using an auto voice caller . we'll see!

First a woman answered, seemed like it was the last thing she wanted to do and told me the line was bad so she would call me back. No call back so I called again. I told him it wasn t something that would interest me but thanks for calling and could he make sure I don t get anymore calls. He said
Generally when there s a long pause before they answer, it s safe to say it s a call centre that I m going to have zero interest in talking to. Whistle loudly down the phone. They don t tend to call back again. ;)

This number called, when I answered no one said anything, so decided to cut them off. I have had numerous scam type calls and I can now block their number.
This number called me yesterday, and several times today. I picked up the most recent call and a girl laughed down the phone and hung up. No attempt to sell me anything or talk about pensions, as other comments have said, just straightforward nuisance call. Have now blocked them.
