FRAUD SCAM Recorded message claiming that my internet service would be disconnected due to my (unnamed) ISP detecting 'illegal' activity from my connection and inviting me to press 1 to connect to an 'executive'.

Same callers as O1322 904994 and 01322 904583. See comments under those numbers.

Rang 3 times over weekend, once an Indian, twice as if they're outside in the wind, asking who I am claiming to be nationwide, I said they were lying and they hung up

Time wasters - called re an accident claim which I've never made. Asked them to remove my number from their listings and they hung up.

This number and the previous numbers used are allocated to etctelecom ltd so they may be behind these calls or could do something about them. Try complaining via their website http://etctelecom.co.uk/contact/. Also obviously complain to the ICO also as they do not appear to have enough yet.

this number is international...it is not a local number its a dangerous scam.

they asked for me by previous name a bit worrying then asked if I d claimed all my PPI back. When I said I d never had any he insisted I had so I terminated the call. I only answered the call as I have relatives in Macclesfield and thought it may be one of them ringing from another landline
