Called twice today, 2nd time answered: asked for my partner by name & claimed to be from People's Energy who are our energy supplier and are based in Edinburgh so that matches the area code (0131). My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. Don't recognise this area code, so have blocked the number.
Lady with Indian accent called, seemed to know my surname and read out my email address asking me to confirm. I confirmed my email (stupid, I know) then the lady wanted to ask a whole load of questions. Hung up.
