A company called PPI Checker also uses this phone number. It shows as international. I asked the company name, which they gave and they also gave me their phone number!! but when I asked for their address, they put the phone down.

Agree with previous commenters. I purchased guttering from them about 10 years ago. Only used them because they had a very long warranty. I also got them to quote for a kitchen about 5 years ago as, they claimed that I would get a preferential discount as I was an existing customer. They were quoting i.r.o. £15K at the time and other reputable companies were between £6K and £9K. Guess which quote I eventually went with? Suggest they are short of work as currently I get at least one call from them each wee

as with "fedup", our phone number is also ex-directory but has been given to various companies when requested. have received several calls over last few weeks. As nothing is said on these calls, I would suspect anyone making them to be untrustworthy or making the calls as nuisance callers otherwise they would at least make an attempt to speak.

This was an automated call. Claiming to be HMRC and advising I had a warrant against me for unpaid taxes. My voicemail picked up the second half of the recorded message which advised me to press 1 to be connected to an advisor. DO NOT ANSWER!

Chap with impenetrable accent called; when I asked him to repeat what he said, he hung up. Odd. It had called before, but this was the first time I got to the phone.
