Have called several times but I havent answered as I have been conned by overseas scammers before and suspect this is another one.

Three calls today. Have my name and landline number even though ex-directory. Claimed to be from my home towns "Workers" whatever that s supposed to be. Phishing for information, did I work in "industry" (didn t specify which). Suspect they re trying to build a mugs list for compensation claim calls.

I was called at 9.58 this morning by "Angelina" from 001059462210 with the usual story that my computer was being accessed by people who shouldn't be accessing it...

The following steps are suggested:

constant calling.rings twice at most then hangs up. my number is ex directory.

Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. Have told them in no uncertain terms (!) that I know it is a scam and that they are NOT calling from Microsoft and requested they never call my number again. Asian voice claiming to be called Richard from Global Pension Advisors who knew my name. When he asked me how I was I put the phone down. Reasons...he wasn t called Richard, anybody calling me about pensions is likely to be a scam or at least something I am not vaguely interested in, all scammers seem to "ask how are you today" and my phone is listed with TPS.

this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. Felt like it was a Bart Simpson style prank call.
