Scam - I cut the caller off before identification. Obvious another brainless idiot claiming to be from Microsoft about my computer. These people need a good physical beating up - it's the only thing that will stop them. They haven't the intellect of a flea.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 7098710xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with silent calls/testing robocalls, PPI - insurance marketing calls and energy companies offers - wide scope call centre. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Sounds like the comments marked as safe are probably the ones making the calls, beware people it really is a scam.

I received a letter from Hastings Direct saying my car had been involved in an accident 6 months ago. I got suspicious as it didn t have any details of my car on the form. I called and was told line busy. I hung up after 30 seconds. I wonder how much that cost me. Great scam. Letter got my attention. I m sure my mum and dad would have held on the phone for about 30 minutes.
