Most likely a National Insurance Phishing Scam. Reported to HMRC. NI would not have rang from a Vodafone mobile number.

Call center I've got called from this number third time this month. Saying carphonewerhouse about offers.
Have had numerous calls from this number, they never leave a message. I cannot find out who they are. Extremely annoying as I am expecting several important calls so always drop...

SCAM / SPAM I received an automated voice call from this number at 12:31, supposedly from Amazon Prime informing me that over £70 had been deducted for my membership and I should press "1" to speak to someone to discuss this. I hung up. I am not a member of Amazon Prime and have had calls like this before. I expect if I had spoken to someone, they would have asked for my bank account details so they could cancel it.
