This number have been calling me twice a day, one in the morning another in late afternoon, for the last four days. I have not answered it yet but I am sure it is a sale call.

I have been abroad for 2 months and started to receive calls at night in the second week of being away (due to time difference I guess) on average once a week. I have never answered & no message is left. Although the number shows as a regular number on phone call list you can t return the call using the number. On googling area code it shows as Glasgow, & on googling the whole number various sites come up with people recounting similar stories - so I will try to block number / not answer...and would advise

Looking at earlier comments, it seems this is Vanquis. I don t have a card or have ever had any dealings with them in the past so don t know why they call me about 6 times every day, including weekends. I block every number but they call from different numbers.

Have been constantly harassed by this number over the last few weeks, I used to be a Sky customer until asking for a homemove which THEY were unable to complete but I was stilled charged for, I am now in the process of putting in a complaint to Ofcom with regard to this and the debt collectors they employed and intend to follow this up with a small claims court action to recover fee s I should not have been charged.

Some pest on this number called my (pensioner) mother to ask to "call today to see if anything s wrong with the house". Sounded very suspicious to me, like if this con artist was let in the house, he/she would find lots of non-existent faults that d cost a fortune to fix. I would never trust a cold caller doing a random check. This number should be blocked from calling. Why are people getting so many cold calls? Can t these people be found USEFUL EMPLOYMENT?
