Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They asked for me by my real name which i never use. Said they were calling from talk talk about upgrading my package. I told the girl i don t have a package with them, and she quickly replied that she was calling from Thomson Local. I enqired "Thompson Local?" To which she answered that she will call me back. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering).
