Said they were calling (my elderly father who lives with Dementia ????) from Domestic & General, which then changed to Legal & General, then back to D&G, wanting to pay a £250 refund and could they just have his bank card details to check…. ???? 01592 675873 called today, missed the call. When i tried to call it back, number was unavailable. Looks like a VoIP number used by scammers, this is their usual trait when trying to call the number back as it's only set to allow dialling out not calling back.

Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc

Indian call centre scam. Claimed to be from Vodafone but flagged up as not a genuine Vodafone number on their app.
Internet? claims to be from BT saying a problem with my internet. I thanked her politely and said my internet is working fine, then I rang off. It didn’t sound like a call centre as was quiet in the background - I don’t believe this was a genuine call from BT
