SCAM called from 02035247544 first trying to get us to press the windows key on the computer and run a diagnostic, strung him along for a bit and then hung up. He called back on this number asking why we hung up on him, he sounded indian and the line was very bad. Told him I was with the TPS and we knew it was dodgy and hung up and blocked the number
SCAM PayPal request for £799.77 stating the money had been sent and to call this number - the email may be from PayPal but the notes on the request certainly aren’t.

Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked

This number continually calls claiming to be Scottish Power, who want payment for a final bill. Every call quotes a different figure due. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. The become agitated and aggressive once they realise that you know it is a scam.

Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Automated call, has rung me 3 times (05/05). I rung back and it and nothing. Has now rung me twice this morning 09/05, I managed to pick up the phone, heard a very loud call centre in the background, and whoever called me hung up after a couple of seconds. Number is now blocked.
