“Skylark” - automated phone call but got transferred to a human! I asked where hey got my details, they mumbled. I then asked them to confirm my name, they gave just a first name and it was wrong. Shock! I said they need to delete my number and if hey call

I was contacted regarding a Sapphire Magazine subscription following completion of a survey. This number, based in Cardiff. Very plausible female. I foolishly gave them my debit card number. I realised later thus could be a scam and surfed the Internet and confirmed my suspicions! See Money Supermarket threads. I cancelled the bank card immediately.
