Automated call Ostensibly from BT, saying suspicious (or similar!) activity on my phone and internet, so will be closing them down. Press 1 ........ etc ! This is the second scamming call within a few minutes, but the other was from a mobile pretending to be from Amazon. The scammers are really active today!

When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. They are called Connect. They refuse to take no for an answer. Even when the other numbers they call from are blocked they use a different number. They actively harass and do it in the full knowledge of what they are doing. Report them and their number on the ICO s website. It only takes two minutes and will hopefully result in their MD personally bankrupted for blatant harassment.
