SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

This number has called me on my lane line all day!! If you pick up the line is dead. I’m assuming it’s a computer calling as they call and as soon as they ring off they call immediately again. I have had to put my phone on do not disturb which means I don’t know when someone legitimate is calling me. I have no idea how to stop this!!

No idea who called. I didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer. Caller's number apparently located in Newport, South Wales and no reason for anyone from that location to call me.

I have had 2 calls from this number since, which disconnect when I answer the 'phone so I expect its just NHS telling me they are too busy to get back to me. I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). This is a scammer's number. They claimed to be from EE accounts department to say my last 2 payments have not been made via debit order and could I press 1 to update my account details. He was very insistent that I do it right now or my account would be closed my phone cut and costly penalties incurred. I hung up as I am not and never have been with EE.

Called and said they from 3 mobile, promo dep. Offered two new phones with cheaper contracts, everything unlimited. (I got 8 months left tho). Then asked for name. He said he was passing me to his manager (diff man) he asked spelling of name, asked for postcode and house number. When I questioned needing house number he said checking because of scams. Also said different dep and just verifying. He asked for sort code & account number, when I questioned this HE HUNG UP! I called 3 not them. SCAMMERS!!

AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. I then asked if it was a service or a sales call - very reluctant to answer so hung up. I think this sort of pseudo cold calling does businesses such as AO.com reputational
