i paid this company 150 for a date that never happened 1st time was cancelled next time was ment to be re arranged but never got re arranged ring trading standards if you have been scammed by these people get your money back and make a stand

this number calls repeatedly, auto call saying i have someone trying to transfer money abroad out of my bank account, the caller asks you to press 1, 2 or 3 to talk to someone....

I contacted this number after several missed calls, the company is called Freshstart, from what they said they get your info via loan applications etc, They seem to either provide or find you Debt Management company/PPI insurance recovery and probably other things. I just said I didnt need it and to take me of the call list.

It is Vodafone offering new rates for customers. Can be irritating as they have rang my phone numerous times a day, however for people complaining if you just answer and POLIETLY say ur not interested they will remove you from their calling list. No point being aggressive or rude to the people on the phone ... They are only doing their jobs!

A very polite girl called today and told me the company name and phone number (the second time I asked). They are Solar Therm, based in Basildon, seem genuine (I ve just been onto their website) but since I never deal with companies who cold call me on my TPS registered number, they are on a loser. I will now report them to the TPS who will smack their wrists!

I m getting really sick of these calls now. I am registered with TPS but am called both on my mobile and home number. I actually pressed 5 to speak with someone and she just put the phone down on me. How can these telesales people do this all day long - what a sad life...The TPS obviously has no power what-so-ever...

I have also been scammed by these guys and I am furious! I have reported them to Action Fraud, but called my bank and they said there was nothing they could do to get m money back. Is it still worth calling trading standards?

Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. Had a couple of calls from this number, and one from a similar number. Claim to be British Gas, saying there s been a change in the way I top up and they want to check that the supply is ok etc. I called BG from a number on the BG website, they checked and told me that these numbers are NOT BRITISH GAS. Recommended I add them to my block list, I suggest you do the same.
