Didn't recognise the number so let it go to answerphone no message left so I can only surmise it's someone trying to sell something as otherwise they would have left a message.

Asian sounding women claiming to me that she is calling from EE, she asked if I have an account with her then when I replied ‘you should know’, she then proceeded to reply with an ‘oh my god’ and then hung up the phone.

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

Two interruptions from this number today. This is a TPS registered domestic telephone number, but with no message left on my answerphone I can only assume it's spam or a scam.
Safe number - NHS - NHS Business Services Authority - legit organisation who deal with a few things, including EHICs, NHS pensions, exemption from health charges (prescriptions, dental, optical and travel for medical treatments) etc. Definitely answer!

Housing maintenance scam? Called them back several times and calls were answered by different people each time. They then called me back and asked for my wife by her first name. Another scam number, automated message pretenting to be from our card issuer that there is suspicious activity. This is the second call this morning from a number started from 01256 with different end digits. Do NOT press 1 or 2 as suggested. Number blocked now.
