This company calls me up to 5 times per day. When I do answer the call there is silence and then the lines goes dead. This is a real pain

Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. I ordered from Ideal World. Day after this calls, trying to sell things. I had three calls from them in one day. I ended up this morning after getting another call I was not the person they were asking for. Then asked them to remove my number and stop calling me.

A fellow prisoner is probably calling a friend or family member.

Answered call, silent and then they hung up.

Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

This number called this morning didn t reach the phone in time so rang back later. Guy told me that we were owed PPI I told him that we were not. He said that my information wasn t in front of him at the moment so I would get another call but just tell them not to call again.

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!
