SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. This number is supposed to be the Parkingeye head office number who you call to pay a parking fine, but is it, or is it a scam ???? DOES ANYONE KNOW PLEASE. Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). The call is a scam designed to illicit bank details for a new phone contract. I would urge everyone to block this number and not give them any info at all.

This was a call from refund on a BitCoin account I had 5 years ago, that I never traded with and closed down within weeks of opening. The chap couldn't give me any background or was willing to listen to what I had to say. I made it evident that I wasn't comfortable about going on my computer to access an account and he got rather aggressive in his tone. I said I wasn't happy with his tone and he turned it on me. In the end he was very rude and put the phone down on me.
SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.
